SPONSORSHIP & PARTNERSHIP POLICY

This Sponsorship & Partnership Policy outlines the terms, expectations, and responsibilities that govern collaborations between AG Adventure Race (“the Organizer”) and its Sponsors and Partners (“the Sponsor”). It ensures transparency, mutual benefit, and brand alignment in all promotional, financial, and operational aspects of the partnership.  

1. PURPOSE

The purpose of this policy is to establish a clear framework for sponsorship and partnership engagement, ensuring all parties benefit from a fair, ethical, and impactful relationship that enhances the visibility and success of the AG Adventure Race.  

2. Brand Placement and Visibility

Sponsors are entitled to brand exposure according to their sponsorship level (e.g., Title Sponsor, Gold, Silver, Bronze).  
Brand placements may include event signage, race uniforms, digital promotions, media coverage, and official communications.  
All logo usage, product displays, and co-branding must comply with AG Adventure Race’s visual identity standards and be pre-approved by the Organizer.  
The Organizer reserves the right to determine final placement and presentation of sponsor branding to ensure event integrity and design consistency.  
 

3. Use of Sponsor Logos and Materials

Sponsors grant AG Adventure Race the non-exclusive right to use their logos, trademarks, and promotional materials for marketing, advertising, and communication related to the event.  
Sponsors may also use the AG Adventure Race logo in accordance with the provided brand guidelines, only for approved co-branded materials
Unauthorized or misleading use of the AG Adventure Race brand or imagery is strictly prohibited.  

4. Financial and Contribution Terms

Sponsorship agreements shall specify the nature of support, whether financial contributions, product donations, or service partnerships.  
Payment terms, timelines, and deliverables will be defined in each individual contract or memorandum of understanding (MoU).  
Late or incomplete payments may result in the suspension or termination of sponsorship privileges.  

5. Exclusivity and Conflict of Interest

AG Adventure Race may grant category exclusivity to sponsors based on the level of commitment.  
Competing brands within the same industry may not be simultaneously represented at the same sponsorship tier without written consent from the Organizer.  
Sponsors agree not to engage in activities that could conflict with the event’s mission, values, or reputation.  

6. Termination and Renewal

Either party may terminate the sponsorship agreement with written notice in the event of breach, non-performance, or reputational damage.  
Upon termination, both parties must cease using each other’s branding or materials immediately.  
Renewal opportunities will be offered based on sponsor performance, compliance, and mutual interest for subsequent event editions.  

7. Legal and Governing Law

All sponsorship and partnership agreements are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes arising from sponsorship arrangements shall be resolved amicably through negotiation or arbitration where necessary.
